Assistant Secretary Stewart Travels to Singapore, Qatar

Assistant Secretary of State for Arms Control, Deterrence, and Stability Mallory Stewart will travel to Singapore and Doha, Qatar, May 29-June 5.

In Singapore, Assistant Secretary Stewart will serve as a Delegate to the International Institute for Strategic Studies’ (IISS) Shangri-La Dialogue: 21st Asia Security Summit.  The conference is Asia’s premier defense meeting for officials to discuss the region’s most pressing security challenges.

In Doha, Assistant Secretary Stewart will attend the Third Arab Forum on Arms Control, Disarmament, and Non-Proliferation, co-hosted by the League of Arab States and the Qatari National Committee for the Prohibition of Weapons.   She will speak on a panel focused on regional and global disarmament trends.
