Secretary Blinken’s Meeting with Czech President Pavel

Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken met with Czech President Petr Pavel today in Prague.  Secretary Blinken and President Pavel discussed the importance of the U.S.-Czech relationship bilaterally and as NATO Allies for the security of Europe and the United States.  Secretary Blinken commended Czechia for its important efforts sourcing ammunition for the defense of Ukraine and for its strong support for Ukrainian refugees.  The Secretary and the President reaffirmed the importance of the upcoming NATO Summit in strengthening our collective deterrence and defense.
