On behalf of the United States of America, I congratulate the Djiboutian people on the 47th anniversary of their nation’s independence.
We deeply value the partnership between the United States and Djibouti over the last few decades. Djibouti’s contributions towards creating a more secure and prosperous region are critical to advancing our shared interest in building lasting peace in the Horn of Africa. Together, we will continue to work together for greater economic prosperity and to deepen the friendship between our people.
