Deputy Secretary Verma Travels to Tucson

Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources Richard Verma will travel to Tucson, Arizona, November 5-6.  In Tucson, Deputy Secretary Verma will visit the 162nd Wing at Morris Air National Guard Base to discuss U.S. Government security assistance to partner nations.  He will also visit the Department of State’s Western and Tucson passport centers to explore ways to improve passport services for all Americans.  The Deputy Secretary will also visit the Tucson Sector of the southwest border and Mariposa Port of Entry to observe operations and engage in consultations between Department of State and U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials.
