Assistant Secretary Kritenbrink’s Travel to Hawaii and Australia

Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs Daniel J. Kritenbrink will travel to Honolulu, Hawaii, and Canberra, Australia May 2-8.

While in Honolulu, Assistant Secretary Kritenbrink will attend the USINDOPACOM change of command ceremony as Admiral Samuel J. Paparo assumes command from Admiral John C. Aquilino.

While in Canberra, Assistant Secretary Kritenbrink will meet with senior government officials and experts to deepen the U.S.-Australia alliance, discuss ongoing collaboration to address global challenges, and advance joint efforts to promote an Indo-Pacific region that is peaceful, prosperous, and respects the sovereign rights of all countries.
