Ambassador Fick’s Travel to Geneva and Berlin

From July 11 to 14, 2023, Ambassador at Large for Cyberspace and Digital Policy Nathaniel C. Fick will travel to Geneva and Berlin. In Geneva, Ambassador Fick will attend a ministerial meeting of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Council to discuss strategic objectives for universal connectivity and sustainable digital transformation. Ambassador Fick will meet with senior leadership of the ITU and UN, as well as member state ministers, to advance U.S. objectives at the ITU and ahead of the World Radiocommunication Conference in November 2023.

In Berlin, Ambassador Fick will meet with German counterparts to exchange views on cyber and digital priorities, including secure information and communication technology infrastructure, digital regulation, cyber governance and resilience, countering the proliferation and misuse of commercial spyware, and promotion of digital freedom and information integrity.
