Algeria National Day – United States Department of State
On behalf of the United States of America, I would like to congratulate the Government of Algeria and its people as they celebrate Algeria’s Independence Day on July 5. Our two countries share a deep commitment to independence, which provides a strong foundation for our enduring and historic partnership. Our people also share profound and expanding cultural, educational, and economic ties. The United States hopes to continue to strengthen the many areas of U.S.-Algeria cooperation and collaboration as we advance our mutual goals of regional stability and prosperity.
This is a day to reflect on and celebrate the hard-won independence of the Algerian people. I extend to Algeria my best wishes for a productive and prosperous year ahead.
