Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken met today with War Cabinet member Minister Benny Gantz in Tel Aviv to discuss the latest developments in the conflict between Israel and Hamas, including efforts to dismantle Hamas’ terrorist infrastructure in Gaza and secure the release of the remaining hostages.  The Secretary underscored the urgent need to protect civilian lives and accelerate the delivery of humanitarian aid to Palestinians in Gaza, including through an effective deconfliction mechanism.
