Acting Deputy Secretary of State Nuland’s Travel to Ukraine

Acting Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland traveled to Kyiv, Ukraine on January 31. While there, she met with senior Ukrainian government officials to reiterate the United States’ enduring support for Ukraine’s democracy, sovereignty, and territorial integrity in the face of Putin’s brutal war. The Acting Deputy Secretary also visited a USAID-funded wounded veteran rehabilitation center where she saw and heard first-hand accounts of both the tragic toll of nearly two-years of fighting, and the heroic bravery of the Ukrainian people who are determined to win the fight for their future.
