Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken met with Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago Dr. Keith Rowley today in Washington, D.C. Secretary Blinken and Prime Minister Rowley reaffirmed the U.S.-Trinidad and Tobago joint commitment to citizen security, including through addressing illicit firearms trafficking. The Secretary and the Prime Minister also discussed further collaboration on regional challenges, cyber security, energy security, and climate adaptation and resilience.
