Maria Vlady: A girl who helps the Foundation change people’s lives for the better

Maria Vlady, a New Yorker, made an important contribution to helping Ukrainians by donating an Invacare TDX SP Power multifunctional rehabilitation chair to the Ukraine Reconstruction Fund.

Currently, the Foundation is accepting orders for this chair from subscribers on its Facebook and Instagram pages. The chair will be transferred for permanent free use.

Maria Vlady was born in Mariupol, studied and then worked in Donetsk. However, the events of 2014 dramatically changed her life. After the Russian invasion, Maria was forced to leave Ukraine and move to the United States.

In 2022, after the occupation of Mariupol, her mother also left for America. She decided to take this difficult step after a month of horrific life in the midst of incessant fighting, arbitrariness of the occupiers, and the loss of her own home. Maria’s stepfather, a career soldier who has been fighting in the Armed Forces of Ukraine since 2015, defending his homeland, remained in Ukraine.

Despite moving to another country, Maria continues to help Ukrainians by sending medicines and medical equipment, including rehabilitation chairs, to those in need.

Maria also actively supports the military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine by making charitable contributions to their needs. She believes in victory and does everything possible to bring this day closer.

«I am grateful to Pavlo Kostyuk and the Ukraine Reconstruction Fund for the opportunity to provide targeted assistance to a person who really needs it. I hope that together we will be able to implement many other charitable projects,» said Maria.

Maria Vlada’s charitable work is an example of caring that helps change people’s lives for the better even at a distance of thousands of kilometers.
