Yesterday, an important and long-awaited aid arrived in Kyiv – the Invacare TDX SP Power multifunctional rehabilitation chair, as well as two wheelchairs for people with special needs.

On May 20, 2024, the Ukraine Reconstruction Fund (URF) announced that it had received these vehicles from its partners for permanent free use by those who need them most.

The Invacare TDX SP Power is a true miracle of technology designed to improve the quality of life. The wheelchair is equipped with high-traffic wheels, speed and seat position adjustment systems. The set includes a battery and charger, as well as a convenient joystick for right-handed operation. All these characteristics make it an indispensable assistant in everyday life.

The URF management, together with its partner Maria Vlady from New York, who donated a multifunctional rehabilitation chair to the Foundation, are now working on identifying those who need this assistance.

“Based on the orders received, a decision will be made to transfer these vehicles to those who have mobility difficulties,” said Victoria Korsunova, Director of the URF Kyiv office.
