Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken will participate in a conversation with Singapore Ambassador-at-Large Chan Heng Chee, in partnership with the National University of Singapore Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at 4:30 a.m. ET/4:30 p.m. SGT on Wednesday, July 31, 2024.

While on his 18th trip to the Indo-Pacific region as Secretary of State, the conversation will cover progress made with allies and partners to advance security and prosperity in facilitating a shared vision for a free and open region. The Secretary will also discuss the United States’ bilateral cooperation with Singapore as a pivotal partner on shared security, economic, climate, and technology objectives.

This event in Singapore will be open to pre-credentialed press  and streamed live on the Department homepage and YouTube channel .
