Assistant Secretary Noyes Travels to Dallas
Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration Julieta Valls Noyes will travel to Dallas April 10-12, 2024. During her visit, Assistant Secretary Noyes will give keynote remarks at Welcoming Interactive, an annual conference that highlights successful practices and inspiring stories about refugee inclusion, programs, policies, and partnerships on economic development, civic engagement, government leadership, and more.
Assistant Secretary Noyes will also meet with local refugee resettlement partners, non-governmental organization representatives, and Welcome Corps private sponsors. Finally, she will participate in a recruitment event on State Department careers for Dallas-area students at Southern Methodist University.
