Assistant Secretary of State for Consular Affairs Rena Bitter Travels to Ciudad Juarez and El Paso

Assistant Secretary of State for Consular Affairs Rena Bitter will travel January 8-9 to Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, and El Paso, Texas.  In Ciudad Juarez, the Assistant Secretary will meet with staff at the U.S. Consulate General and observe consular operations.  In El Paso, the Assistant Secretary will review the operations of the U.S. passport agency and meet with staff.  Her trip underscores our deep and sustained commitment to the protection of U.S. citizens abroad and the facilitation of legitimate travel and immigration to the United States.
