LGBTQI+ Special Envoy Stern’s Travel to Stockholm

From October 17 to 20, Special Envoy to Advance the Human Rights of LGBTQI+ Persons Jessica Stern will travel to Stockholm, Sweden to attend the Fall 2023 Partners Meeting of the Global Equality Fund (GEF). The GEF is a Public-Private Partnership that works to resource movements working to promote and protect the human rights of LGBTQI+ persons globally. At the meeting, SE Stern will participate in dialogues with GEF partners and fund-supported civil society partners to strengthen awareness and knowledge of current challenges, crises, and opportunities for LGBTQI+ persons and communities in the world. SE Stern will also meet with members of the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency, and members of Swedish Parliament.
