Assistant Secretary Stewart Travels to Philippines, Singapore, and Indonesia
From May 30 – June 6, 2023, Assistant Secretary for Arms Control, Verification and Compliance Mallory Stewart will travel to the Philippines, Singapore, and Indonesia.
In Manila, Philippines, she will participate in bilateral talks and briefings on arms control and risk reduction with government officials.
In Singapore, A/S Stewart will serve as a Delegate to the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) Shangri-La Dialogue: 20th Asia Security Summit. The conference is Asia’s premiere defense meeting for officials to discuss and debate the region’s most pressing security challenges and engage in bilateral meetings.
In Jakarta, Indonesia, A/S Stewart will meet with government officials about regional and international security and arms control issues.
