Secretary Blinken’s Call with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Al Sabah

Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken spoke today with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Salem Al Sabah to discuss shared regional and global priorities.  Secretary Blinken reaffirmed the strategic nature of the U.S.-Kuwait partnership and highlighted the importance of deepening bilateral cooperation on regional issues.  Secretary Blinken updated the Foreign Minister on U.S. efforts to work with Israeli, Palestinian, and regional partners to deescalate the situation in the West Bank.  They also discussed the need to support humanitarian priorities both in the region and globally.
