My Invitation as Speaker, Special Guest At Commonwealth Summit, Oxford University Is A Deserved Honour For African Monarchy System -Ooni

His Imperial Majesty Ooni Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II has described his invitation as Keynote Speaker and Special Guest at this year’s Commonwealth Africa Summit and Oxford University, British Museum and the Memorial Gate to honour Africans who died during the 2nd world war as a deserved honour for the African Monarchy system which he promised to use as a great opportunity to touch on the issues concerning peace, unity and culture of the African people.

The Globally known as Africa’s King of peace and unity said this in an interview at his ILE OODUA palace, Ile-Ife in Nigeria where he also said

“Am happy to announce to the Yoruba and Black community worldwide that I will be coming to the UK on a two week visit to meet various Yoruba stakeholders to further promote our heritage, culture and tradition.

This will most importantly solidify the peace movement that is being preached in Nigeria and the world that all of us should together work for the greatness of Africa and bless the mankind”.Ooni said.

The Ooni who is the Spiritual Leader of the Yoruba race, added “meet me on Friday 24th March 2017 at Arora Hall of Intercontinental hotel , London where I will be meeting all descendants of Oduduwa and Black race” Ooni Ogunwusi added.

Meanwhile, Oodua descendants, Nigerians and Africans residing in the UK will have direct physical access to Ooni Ogunwusi  who will be meeting his African subjects with a view to involving them in his global Peace and Unity Project aimed at strengthening the co-existence among the various peoples of Africa.

Alhaji Rotimi Osobemekun, the Director of the UK based Ooni Of Ife Global Outreach(OIGO) which is at the center of the coordination of the proposed visit of the African Foremost Monarch the United Kingdom from 12th to 26th March 2017 made this assurance through a press release on Monday.

According to Mr Osobemekun , culture is the totality of learned, socially transmitted customs, knowledge, material objects and behaviour.

He urged other African leaders to emulate Ooni Ogunwusi who does not live any stone unturned when it comes to promotion of African culture believed to be the best in the world.


Concluding his statement, Rotimi Osobemekun of the Ooni Of Ife Globa Outreach(OIGO) asked people African race in the UK to troop out in large numbers to join the AROLE ODUDUWA on Friday 24th March 2017 at the official ROYAL GALA where Ooni Ogunwusi will be meeting various Yoruba and Nigerian stakeholders in the UK with a view to further promoting our heritage, culture and tradition.
