Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode, the former Avaitaion minister and Peoples Democratic Party stalwart, on Sunday broke his promise to his supporters not to continue his Twitter battle with Mr. Jimoh Ibrahim, calling him a Judas.
Ibrahim has been at war of words on Twitter with Fani-Kayode over his (Jimoh Ibrahim) attempt to represent PDP as candidate in Saturday’s election.
After several tweets, Fani-Kayode, had decided to ignore further taunts from Ibrahim “out of deference” to his followers.
FFK: Out of deferrence to my followers I have decided not to continue to engage Jimoh the pig any further. Thanks for your concern. Shalom.
The former minister, however, broke that promise when Mr. Ibrahim suggested on Twitter that Mr. Eyitayo Jegede lost his bid for the Ondo governorship seat because he was being backed by Mr. Fani-Kayode.
Jimoh Ibrahim: I had no doubt that Jegede would lose as Femi Fani-Kayode was supporting him. If you want to win any election, pay Femi not to support you.
Reacting, the former minister labelled Ibrahim a Judas, alleging that “he sold his party for money”.
FFK: The biggest Judas in Nigerian politics today is Jimoh Ibrahim. He sold his party for money. He lives like Judas and he will end like Judas.
